Victim

Fri Sep 26 17:12:17 -0700 2008
What happens when the criminal becomes a victim of crime? Do we cry for him? Or do we say, "That's what you get." What happens when the criminal becomes a victim of crime? Do we shed tears for his sake? Or do we say, "That's what you deserve." That gun totin', blunt smokin' street criminal cries because his family doesn't want him. Those ancient Biblical seeds that were planted in him as a child still remain, but have been unnurtured. The pain in his heart fuels his strength for the challenge of street life. In the streets he has proven himself a strong competitor--a real man. He is deceived by love--the love of his fellow street mates. But they are hurting too--so the love is shallow and will quickly fade. True love is rare, even in the streets. "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" is the new law. Is it his fault that he believes in the law? Is the criminal a victim of crime before he becomes a victim of crime? The great Apostle Paul was a certified KILLER before he saw the Light through blindness. Let us try to understand all men--including the criminal. I am not a criminal's defender. I have lived. I am a comprehender of the human mind. All of my tears are real.
